Boxcar Children Preview

Our first literature circle finished their book recently. They read the first book in the Boxcar Children series. Their final task was to write, practice, and perform a "preview" for the rest of the class. If the book were a movie, would you want to watch it on the big screen? Watch and find out!

Monster Exchange

We have been working hard on a Monster Exchange Project with a class in England. You can read about it at http://monsterproject3.wikispaces.com/. Today, we made a short video so they could see us working on drawing their monsters. :)

Bill of Rights Rap

We spent a couple of weeks learning about our government, how to be a good citizen, rights and responsibilities. We enjoyed putting together a Bill of Rights rap to end our unit. Enjoy. :)

The Relatives Came!

One afternoon last week we were in our classroom talking about the book that we had been reading, The Relatives Came. Our principal called down to us and told us there were visitors outside. We weren't sure what was going on, but we walked out front and were greeted by THE RELATIVES! Our parents, grandparents, siblings, and family friends were waiting for us. They had brought along our favorite books and snacks to share, too! We had a fun afternoon and hope you enjoy the movie that we made.

We have six Flip cameras for our classroom, and we decided that we needed to try them out. Each table decided what they wanted to do, and Ms. B. recorded us. We are going to learn to do the recording part soon. Here we are just being silly!
